Hudson's Sunday Suit - Ginger Snaps Designs

Thisis an easy to sew boy's pattern with pull-on shorts or long pants. The pants have a front band and an elastic back.

The hang-out shirt has a basic two piece collar and can be embellished with Swiss eyelet trims or a more tailored variation with cording and knife pleats. The knife pleat variation with long pants is ideal for cooler seasons with a heavier fabric used for the shirt.

This suit can be either dressy or casual, depending on the variation and fabrics chosen. A dressy suit may be made of linen. A casual suit may be sewn of broadcloth, oxford cloth, a textured cloth or twill solid or print. The long pants may be made of twill or corduroy.

This is a very versatile pattern that can be used for many occasions throughout the year.
